This is my story. Don't worry, I will be brief, but I want you to understand "where I'm coming from", ok?
I was an Internet marketer in 1998, and for several years made good money online. When I first started out, I was selling phones, stereos, and lots of other electronic products in a costly online store. I spent tons of money trying to learn how to get visitors to my online "mall". Sure, I made a bunch of sales, but I worked lots of hours and my "overhead" costs were huge.
Next I decided to focus on making money by selling "tools" to the online opportunity seekers. I sold a wide range of web hosting and marketing services, and did quite well. I also marketed a range of information products - those of affiliates and partners, and also my own products. This phase was great, I was really making good money.
I was working hard selling some very high-priced products, and I started to realize that I did not enjoy the high-pressure life of being a salesman. So I adjusted my methods so that I could still make a nice income, but not have to use the high-pressure tactics.
So for the last few years I've run a little, very private business of my own online, focused on selling selected products that others make available through affiliate programs (and a couple of my own products).
